Sonora Mexico Gold Nugget

This Gold nugget obviously has a very rustic nature as the specimen from Sonora, Mexico is quite earthy which is no surprise since it was actually discovered using a metal detector. This rocky example weighs a substantial 50.5 grams and exhibits multiple faces of highly textural Gold anchored by its matrix of white and charcoal gray Quartz. The naturally complex shape of the nugget is rather appealing, and the rugged form gives the Gold sample a legitimacy and authenticity, as this one is clearly just the way it was found.
